Sin Problem?

Most people don’t have a sin problem, they have a love problem. Not loving God or themselves enough to leave whatever sin alone that is not conducive to the betterment of their life. Most sin comes from brokenness! Other sin comes from lack discipline/ intimacy with God or lack of knowledge of a thing and its sinful nature. The number one sin that will keep you away from God is PRIDE. Our job as Christians is to be honest enough with ourselves to acknowledge our sin  and check the root so that we may correct it.

The thing about sin is that its comfortable, its usually things we enjoy doing although when we’re done or sobered up we don’t always feel good about it, and  conviction begins to set in.

Some people will tell you to just stop doing whatever your doing wrong, but I say don’t just stop, look back to see where the desire stems from and kill it/ correct it at the root. This only works if you are honest enough with yourself, otherwise you will always make excuses as to why you can’t change and are committed to your wrong doings. If you begin to mend your brokenness you will start to become whole.

Most times as adults we are dealing with issues, conflicts, and dilemmas as they arise in our day to day lives, which leaves us  not having time to reflect, acknowledge and mend ourselves to wholeness. But, you must be important enough to you to take time out to become whole and heal.

No matter what the sin is guaranteed if you boil down to the root it is PRIDE in some type of way, which will keep you bond from becoming whole. Don’t let pride hold you back from becoming whole and free from your choice sin. Lets start loving you NOW!

  • 1 Peter 5:5-11

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

  • James 5:6-10But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

    “God opposes the proud

but shows favor to the humble.”[a]

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
